Emergences by Kenneth Kirschner

Expressive and moving collection of Kenneth Kirschner's early compositions. These pieces were all conceived around the theme of both dance performances (classic or modern) and the culture of dance clubs. While some of them were written specifically (or later adapted) for physical performances, every one draws on compositional techniques common to electronic dance music. The result is a wonderful flow of memorable melodies and energizing rhythms. It's hard to listen to this collection only three times!
