Japanese beatmaker knowsur just dropped the quirkiest album on Split Notes' netlabel - "NANA WODORI"

His infectious glitchy beats and melodies are mixed with the new "xenharmonic" sound, making this work enjoyable and danceable but honestly unique. Xenharmonic music uses microtonal scales to achieve different moods and unfamiliar, original territories. knowsur skillfully makes the entire work pop-accessible. With some jazzy vibes, house and dance numbers, microtones and even a bit of vocaloid thrown in, this taste of Japan is well worth the attention.
